Frequently Asked Questions
Is this safe to do from home?
Yes, with the right medical supervision and support. Our doctors oversee the tapering and comfort‑meds; coaches help you stay safe and grounded; peer support ensures someone is with you in your immediate environment.
Will I need to take time off work?
We strongly recommend it, especially during the worst of the taper and withdrawal period. Having fewer distractions and more rest enhances comfort, safety, and outcomes.
What kind of medications do you use for withdrawal?
We use medically‑accepted comfort medications to address specific symptoms: anxiolytics, sleep aids, anti‑nausea, anti‑diarrhea, muscle relaxants, etc., prescribed by a physician as part of your taper plan.
How is kratom different?
Kratom dependence can produce withdrawal symptoms similar to opioids (chills, restlessness, aches, etc.). Our programs are designed to treat kratom withdrawal specifically, with tailored tapering, and medical & therapeutic support.
