Speaker 1 [00:00:00] The darndest things. Uh huh. Uh huh. Yeah. How would you respond to that? Right. I'm good. Make up to any anger.

Speaker 2 [00:00:25] In my head to shiny. Yeah. Well.

Speaker 1 [00:00:32] It looks like Confucius.

So we bring this guy in for testimonials.

Speaker 1 [00:02:25] Like a bum. Ketamine changed my life. There are a couple of different people. Why are they scary? Meant to change me for the worse. Don't end up like me. Even more random. But like I was using this filter. And then sudden I'm like, What is that? I don't even know why I did it, but it does. All right. Thank you, brother. I'm going to leave. I really appreciate it. I quite like it. But words, you can't save it.

Speaker 2 [00:03:13] I'm Dr. Samson. I'm the founder and medical director of Anywhere Clinic, where you tell the psychiatry practice, where we bring the convenience and.

Speaker 1 [00:03:21] Then they can.

Speaker 2 [00:03:24] Begin. I think the second one was good, but.

Speaker 1 [00:03:26] Let's get one more. I was like, Oh! Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Speaker 2 [00:03:40] I'm Dr. Sam. Mm hmm. I'm Dr. Sam Zand. I'm the founder and medical director of Anywhere Clinic, where it's health psychiatry practice, where we bring the convenience and comfort of mental health care into your home. You don't have to leave the house anymore to be seen. You can just pick up your phone, your computer and our providers, including psychiatrists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and therapists. We'll be there for you any time you want anywhere. All right. I'm very sick. I'm very psychotic.

Speaker 1 [00:04:19] I'm sorry. Where are you? I'm in my office.

Speaker 2 [00:04:36] I'm very excited about the future of psychiatry because for the first time in a while, we have a lot of different tools to really help people get ahead of the contributing factors of what they're going through. No longer are we looking for a Band-Aid approach to our problems, where we just want to blunt the symptoms. We're actually trying to understand why are you feeling the way you're feeling? And let's get ahead of that. Let's process it, find awareness, clarity, and be able to enact the change that we need so that you can feel better, happier, or have more of a clear mind and an inner peace about you. There are cutting edge services and there are new cutting edge services in psychiatry that for the first time in a while we're really able to find a different approach to care instead of just blunting the symptoms, making you feel less depressed or less anxious, we're actually transforming you from the inside, the core issues that are causing what you're going through to be able to self-assess, self, explore and be your own therapist. These are the tools that ketamine therapy bring. These are the tools that increase neuroplasticity, allow for all of us. Instead of struggling to figure out why we're feeling the way we're feeling, all of a sudden, our brain is no longer stuck in these rigid patterns. It's almost like we're able to warm up the clay of the brain and then be able to mold it the way that we want. Many people say ketamine therapy is like fresh powder on the ski slopes of the brain. Sometimes we carve the same pathways over and over that don't serve us and we end up in the same place. Terrible thoughts, feelings and behaviors. What if we had something that would be like fresh powder for these ski slopes and we can start to carve our own new empowering pathways? Ketamine therapy is like what? So no.

Speaker 1 [00:06:24] That wasn't it.

Speaker 2 [00:06:27] Ketamine therapy is like water for the dry soil of the brain, whatever you can plant. All of a sudden, we're able to nourish and grow in a much healthier and neural plastic way. Our neurons get to create new connections. Whatever you in plants as an intention, we'll see it grow after treatment. Don't. Ketamine therapy is like water for the wet soil of the brain. Sometimes we have the intention that we want to plant, but we're not able to nourish it because our negative self-talk gets in the way toxins both physically and mentally. With ketamine therapy, you're able to self-reflect, remove the toxins, add the nourishment, the love, the gratitude, the empathy that sometimes aren't as present in our life. All of a sudden, we're able to add these ingredients that our growth in our healing becomes so much easier.

Speaker 1 [00:07:25] That's pretty good. Mm hmm.

Speaker 2 [00:07:33] I wanted to psychiatry because in this field, we're actually able to impact all areas of your health. Your brain is the computer processor of your being. And if we can improve brain function, if we can improve the way you think about things where you perceive your life in the world around you, all of a sudden all of your health improves, whether it's physical, psychological, emotional, behavioral, this is all tied together. And it starts with the brain. It starts with being able to think about things clearly with peace of mind, with a perspective of empowerment and growth. Sometimes we just get stuck. Life gets in the way and we get in a rut. Psychiatry isn't just for the sick. It's for everybody. It's to allow us to be the better version of ourself. Seeking mental health care doesn't mean you're weak. In fact, it's the opposite. It's a strength to be able to self-assess and say, I've been struggling a little bit with some things. In addition to that, we help highlight your strengths, help you understand what makes you unique and special so that not only are we

sitting here focusing on depressive patterns or anxious patterns, but we're focused on what inspires you, what gives you a will to get out there and be your best self. How can you show up as the best version of yourself every day? This is what psychiatry is about. With the convenience of tele psychiatry. All of a sudden you don't have to go to an office to seek care. You don't have to leave your home. You can be seen in the comfort of your own bed, in your own living room. And often we find that when patients come to the office, they get anxious. It's a new environment, a new place. They have to figure out directions. They want to make sure they're not late. They might get stuck in the waiting room for half an hour or an hour or more with tele psychiatry. You can be seen any time anywhere. Some of the common reasons people struggle with their mental health are cell phone addiction, poor sleep patterns, poor nutrition, lack of activity and exercise in their life. These are things that we normally wouldn't attribute to. So that's why I got.

Unidentified [00:09:58] In touch with. I'm.

Speaker 2 [00:10:19] Has a psychiatrist, to be honest, it's a little bit. And try again. It's, uh. What is it? It's disappointing. As a psychiatrist, it's sometimes disappointing to hear about the low standard of care in our industry. I've heard horror stories about long wait times. Psychiatrists that don't even look you in the eye or they're caught up typing on their computer or taking notes and not really getting to know you and everything you're going through here at anywhere a clinic. We take our time. We want you to feel comfortable. We want you to feel secure. We want you to know that we practice with compassion and love. We're not here to just get you in and out. We want to give you as much time as you need. Be patient and compassionate so that you can get to the care of the level of growth and healing that you're looking for. We understand that taking care of your mental health sometimes isn't easy. You may have followed all of your doctor's recommendations, the medications they told you to take. You've engaged in talk therapy, but you're still not seeing the progress you're looking for. Consider that there are new options for you. Ketamine therapy can help transform the way you feel from the core. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. TMS can help increase activation to those parts of the brain that help you process things in a healthy way. There are so many modalities in our field now that if you've struggled with medication in the past with antidepressants, consider that that isn't the last hope for you. There's a lot of new options that we can try, and we should feel optimistic about the future of your care.

Speaker 1 [00:12:08] Sounds like this. Mm hmm.

And the answer is, nobody actually needs a psychiatrist, but we can be there for you to help you with whatever it is you're going through, whether it's emotional struggles, whether it's behavioral patterns that you notice aren't serving you. If you feel stuck, if you feel a lack of clarity, if you're not inspired and passionate about life. If you tend to feel worried and anxious about things and this is getting in the way of you really maximizing your potential, give us a call. We want to be there to meet you where you are and help you advance your growth. Our story begins in Las Vegas. We have our practice headquartered here and we always say, if you can heal Vegas, you can heal the world. It's been a tough time in this town the last few years from the shooting that we had in October one to COVID. It's a town that really had a lot of entertainment tourism. When the town shut down, the city suffered. We lost jobs. We were stuck at home. We lost our healthy social outlets. We were witness to all the terrible things we saw on TV in the news, whether with politics, social justice, social weather, with politics, social justice. A lot of the difficult things that we got to witness without really having the ability to impact or change. Being stuck in our home and isolated and segregated from society affected all of our mental health. It's time that we step up and realize we all need a little bit of extra care, a little bit of extra guidance. Nobody is exempt from working on their mental health. We all have a mental health journey and we just want to be here for each other.

Speaker 1 [00:17:37] You say nobody is exempt.

Speaker 2 [00:17:47] At any where clinic. Although we help with whatever psychiatric concerns that you have, we don't focus on the diagnosis. And I want to talk a little bit about that. Sometimes when we diagnose an illness, it becomes very limiting. It categorizes us. It makes us feel that we're stuck with this illness for the rest of our lives. And that's not true. Our mental health is dynamic. We're always evolving. We're growing and changing. If we can recognize that what we're going through is not a reason due to an illness, but rather a combination of things our physical health, our psychological health and environmental and spiritual health. Then all of a sudden we can understand how we can improve upon these things. Although we do deal with people who are depressed, anxious, we don't focus on the problems. We focus on the solutions. We want people to recognize their strengths, be able to hone in on that, and also objectively assess their weaknesses without shame, blame or judgment. Be able to delegate, improve, eliminate any weaknesses so that they can go on to maximize the potential of their lives. Our team will help you understand all the factors attributing to your mental health struggles. We're not here to just throw a pill at the problem. Although sometimes medication can be helpful. We really have to get ahead of what is contributing to what's going on. To assess this therapeutically, to work on our growth, to heal from any trauma or difficult experiences, to refocus our attention on self-love and gratitude and empathy. And to realize that we all have the ability to give to be there for each other. Sometimes when we step away from our own problems and start giving and start solving and helping others, we realize our problems aren't that bad. This is all part of mental health care. And if you work with one of our providers, the focus won't just be on medication. It will be on the holistic treatment to get you feeling your best self. The number one factor affecting our mental health in this country, I believe, is neuro rigidity. What that means is we get stuck in a way of thinking, a way of feeling, a way of behaving. Our mind literally becomes rigid. It becomes hard to deviate away from these patterns. There are new modalities that help reset you neurologically, psychologically, so that you can focus your attention on whatever it is that you want to prioritize and not let the background clutter the negative self-talk be in the driver's seat. All of a sudden, you can take control of your thoughts, feelings and emotions and be able to change and transform those difficult feelings to a more empowering perspective. At any rate, clinic. We offer traditional medication management for those who feel that would be helpful. We offer a supportive psychotherapy to be able to talk through what we're going through and add clarity and understanding to our lives. We also offer alternative modalities ketamine therapy to help reset and transform your perspectives of life. TMS Transcranial magnetic stimulation helps to activate the parts of the brain's that are a little.

Speaker 1 [00:21:18] Bit.

Speaker 2 [00:21:19] Underactive when we're feeling down or depressed. We have psychotherapy.

Unidentified [00:21:23] We have what we have. That's not.

Speaker 2 [00:21:30] Hypnotherapy. We have hypnotherapy. We have coaches that will help with lifestyle modifications. We really want to assess every factor of your life. We have group therapy, family therapy, couples counseling. All of this is available from the convenience of your own home mental health care. Anytime, anywhere that teaches.

Speaker 1 [00:21:56] You that smile. That could be more.
